The Luke's had what so many split-level homeowners have: a maze of small, disconnected rooms. Kitchen, dining room, living room... all boxed off from each other. Great for the 1970s, not so great for how families actually live today.Penny's vision was clear: tear down those walls and create one open, flowing space perfect for entertaining and everyday life.

The Challenge:
Transforming a compartmentalized layout into an open-concept dream while staying on budget and incorporating the high-end finishes Penny wanted. And doing it fast. We had just over 30 days from demolition to completion.

The Collaboration:
Working with the design team at Home Depot, we helped Penny select cabinetry that delivered luxury without the luxury price tag. Every detail mattered: touchless faucet for convenience, a hidden outlet-and-USB drawer for charging stations, an appliance garage to keep counters clear, and a custom tile backsplash that tied it all together.

We didn't stop at the kitchen. New luxury vinyl plank flooring flowed throughout the entire upstairs and down the stairs, creating visual continuity in the newly opened space.

The Transformation:
Thirty days later, Penny had the entertaining space she'd dreamed of. The boxed-in split-level became an open, modern home where family and friends naturally gather. Every feature, from the touchless faucet to the appliance garage, works exactly as she'd hoped.

This is what happens when vision, smart design choices, and tight execution come together.
